Mr Misra and his colleague Mr Charlie Wang, both from Coventry, launched their company Meadoweb this month. Meadoweb’s service gives reliable and easy computing for just £10 a month and its launch follows research with several hundred businesses which confirmed that the vast majority of users had been waiting for this service. The software, developed in Coventry by two former University of Warwick students, has been nurtured through the university’s pioneering Enterprise Fellowship Scheme (EFS), which is designed to encourage staff, students, and alumni at participating universities to turn their innovative design or technology-based business ideas into real businesses. Unique software, giving secure remote access and repair capability for both business and home computer users, is set to revolutionise IT support and deliver easier computing ability to users throughout the UK.
